Matt Touch Grey, True Handless German Kitchen
Kitchen Features
Amazing clients to work with! A lovely couple based here in Coalville, Leicestershire, wanted to update their kitchen. The brief was to redesign a dated breakfast kitchen and turn it into a modern space that had a contemporary feel. A true handless German-made kitchen was the best option, this gave them the best materials to work with for their project, and knowing it was all made by one of the leading German brands, Nobilia, gave them confidence in the product.
We needed to get everything just right on this project because the clients had decided to invest in new flooring for both the utility room and kitchen as well as new radiators for both spaces, a complete overhaul of an existing kitchen.
Wanting to keep the space as light as possible but also to have a textured feel, the decision was made to go with a light matt grey door, a stainless steel handless profile, and real contrast with Nobila’s dark grey concrete worktops made over in Germany.
These choices can sometimes lead to a clinical feel, so conversations between one of our design consultants and the clients led to us needing to add some warmth to the project. We were able to do this by utilising the Noblila worktop range and add in a framed risen breakfast bar, suddenly the kitchen felt like a very different space and this then made the decision to lay a waterproof timber effect LVT flooring very easy. All of these decisions were made in our design studio during the consultation process and then came to life during the design process using our state the art imagery software.
The end result is stunning, it’s a spacious yet cosy environment that serves all the needs of the clients and feels like the room has been updated to the highest standards. Very happy clients, very happy design consultant and very happy installers that are all proud of the finished space.
