Matt Light Grey, Matt Black, True Handleless German Kitchen, Nobilia Worktops
Kitchen Features
Not only a new build but a SELF-BUILD! When we work with clients who are building their own house it’s important that we have a real understanding of what it is they are hoping to achieve. This will be a dream project for anyone and the kitchen is the heart of any home so we really don’t want to get it wrong. These clients were brilliant to work with, although the budget was tight for what they wanted to achieve we knew that it was completely worth spending the time at the design stage to make sure everything falls into place.
Wanting to create a two-tone kitchen but keeping it light and spacious can sometimes be a challenge, on this occasion the clients had a strong idea of what the overall feel should be, we just needed to guide them through the design process. After the consultation we decided it was best to keep everything as a matt finish, to create a striking balance of contrast the two main colours would be black & light grey. The Island was to be the main feature so to have this as an all-black matt finish on the units and on the worktop gave us the freedom to have the tall housings in a bright light grey finish giving the contrast the clients were looking for. These tall units also went right the way up to the ceiling giving the fully fitted look the clients wanted to achieve.
The breakfast bar area is a wrap-around seating space that offers the perfect solution for social gatherings, this is a feature concept colour in oak and brings warmth to the design. Having already had in a professional chef to cater for a dinner party we know the design, style, and usability of this space is spot on. Very pleased with the outcome and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a stunning kitchen.
